Job Opening – Facility Maintenance Technician – Lafayette, LA
Building Maintenance has an immediate opening for a full time Facility Maintenance Technician at our Lafayette location.
The general job summary is to assist with facility maintenance - which consists of plumbing, electrical and carpentry work. A list of duties and responsibilities common to this position is below.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with repair or install plumbing, electrical problems, woodwork/carpentry, and flooring on AASI facilities
- Assist with new construction regarding any of the three items above
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience and knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Work Environment:
- Specific situations that lead to environment conditions can include:
- hazardous materials, electrical emergencies, vehicular accidents, outdoor emergency settings, hurricanes, tornadoes, industrial accidents, conditions affecting driving, settings where heavy equipment such as extrication tools are in use, etc.
